Name, Title
What/Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
I was inspired by my love of dance, history of knee injuries and a beloved professor in graduate school. My journey to become a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist started from my own journey with physical therapy from dance related injuries. This then sparked my interest in Pilates and understanding the core! My mentor encouraged me to explore "women's' health therapy" as a clinical experience during graduate school. As a student physical therapist, I had no idea what I was in for and I almost passed out on the first day of clinical. YES! Seeing the down there bits (aka vulva) of another person was a shock to me. I had no idea what to expect, but absolutely fell in love with how impactful pelvic therapy can be in everyone's life. I've come a long way from passing out to owning the premier pelvic health practice in Southern Jersey.
What TV/book are you currently into?
I love anything historical from related to women overcoming challenges, stereotypes and diversity. My favorite movie is The Help.
What’s the best vacation/travel memory you’ve ever had?
When I was a teen, my family moved to Sydney, Australia. I went to school all year round, traveled the east coast of Sydney with my family and rang in the Y2K new year! This time in my life ignited my current love of travel and trying new foods.

Is there something that has made you laugh recently?
I have 3 chickens named Goldie, Popcorn and Pepper. They crack me up when they eat watermelon and hunt for bugs! They each have their own personality which has always surprised me.
